This Privacy Policy explains how Pacinos handles information when users visit the Pacinos website, use the Pacinos desktop content-production workflow, contact support, or connect supported third-party services such as TikTok.

1. Scope

Pacinos is creator-focused desktop software and this website is its public product, support, integration and legal website. Some processing occurs locally on a user's device; some optional features interact with third-party services when the user enables them.

2. Information Pacinos may process

• Source and project content: video, audio, transcript text, captions, generated clip metadata and related project information supplied or produced by the user.
• Connected-account information: account identifiers, basic profile information, authorised permissions, tokens and API responses made available by a third-party platform after the user authorises the connection.
• Publishing information: selected post metadata, privacy/interaction choices, publishing identifiers, status information and owned-post performance metrics where the relevant permission is available.
• Technical information: local application settings, diagnostic information and logs needed to operate or troubleshoot the software.
• Support information: information a user voluntarily sends to developer@pacinosapp.com.

3. TikTok authorisation and data

When a user chooses to connect TikTok, authentication and permission consent occur through TikTok. Pacinos does not ask users to provide their TikTok password to Pacinos. The integration uses only permissions made available to the app and granted by the user. TikTok data is used to identify the connected account, render supported creator/publishing controls, submit creator-approved content where authorised, and track the resulting publishing state or owned-post metrics where permitted.

4. How information is used

Pacinos uses information to operate source analysis, candidate discovery, editing/rendering, review, publishing, account-health, analytics and support functions; to maintain security and reliability; to comply with user-selected third-party integrations; and to respond to support, privacy or deletion requests.

5. Local and cloud processing

Pacinos uses a local-first desktop workflow. Where a configured cloud feature is used, task-relevant transcript excerpts, text or metadata may be sent to the selected service provider to perform that feature. Pacinos is designed not to place API keys, access tokens or other credentials inside AI prompts.

6. Third-party services

Features may interact with third-party platforms and infrastructure providers. Those services process information under their own privacy notices and terms. Pacinos only sends information to a third party when needed for a feature the user has enabled, for service operation, or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

7. Sale and advertising

Pacinos does not sell users' personal information to advertisers. Connected-account data is not provided to advertisers for their independent advertising use.

8. Credentials and security

Authorisation tokens and platform credentials are treated as sensitive. Pacinos uses operating-system protected local storage for connected-account tokens where supported, keeps platform client secrets out of the public website, and applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Retention

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the relevant workflow, user-selected features, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations or legitimate record-keeping. Local source and output files remain under the user's device-level control unless the user separately sends them to a configured third-party service.

10. User choices

Users can choose whether to connect supported third-party accounts, can disconnect those accounts, can remove local project files, and can contact Pacinos about access, correction or deletion of personal information where applicable.

12. Content rights

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions necessary to upload, process and publish source material through Pacinos.

13. Children

Pacinos is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law or by a connected third-party platform. Users must satisfy the age and account requirements of services they connect to Pacinos.

14. Changes to this policy

Pacinos may update this policy as the service, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain published on this page.
